Philosophy

3Advisory was founded on the belief that sound judgment, critical thinking skills, and common sense are the imperative ingredients for transforming our nation's child welfare system. We believe in working to reduce the number of children who enter out-of-home care and keeping family units together - safely and effectively. We believe the most crucial steps in the system are decisions surrounding intake:

  • Can a call to a hotline be substantiated based on the available data?
  • If so, does the case warrant removal based on the existing data available to the Protective Investigator? If not, can the child be left at home safely?
  • Can the family receive the help it needs to heal?
  • How do we engage wrap around and integrated services and ensure they are provided and received?
  • Does the system follow up after services have been received to ensure improvements in the home and safety of the children?

We engage in analysis and redesign of Child Welfare systems accordingly and are passionate about transforming our nation's social welfare systems and child welfare practices through implementation and adoption of interoperable technology solutions that can allow for data-sharing and exchanges of data, business intelligence, predictive analytics, and systems integration toward holistic and integrated service delivery models, which will ultimately assist the caseworkers and protective investigators in making sound decisions for the families they serve.
